Himalayan snake has evolved to live in hot springs
A species of snake has evolved to
live successfully at high altitude in Himalayan hot springs. The snake
lives in hot spring water rising from the convergent boundary between
the Asian and Indian tectonic plates. Here it hunts for small fish.
The hot water allows it to maintain its desired body temperature. This
